Interpersonal Violence

From human trafficking and stalking to domestic and sexual violence, Interpersonal Violence affects women and men everywhere, including in our schools and on our campuses. According to a 2022 report by the International Labour Organization, 3.3 million children are in forced labor situations, with half of those situations being commercial sexual exploitation. Additionally, statistics from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, which state almost 13.5 percent of male and 21 percent of female high school students have reported experiencing physical or sexual abuse by their dates, show the pervasiveness of interpersonal violence. As such, this section addresses those various forms of interpersonal violence by providing information including statistics, hotline contact information, handouts, and other resources.
